Can't Believe Its Not Butter!!

Ok thats a lie, its more like I can't believe that its April already tomorrow. That means I have like a month and some before Otafest! Its seems crazy! I can't believe how quickly its coming up! And it won't stop snowing here so I don't feel like tromping around the city to get costume "accessories" when its cold like this. I mean I have all my materials to make the cloth portions of my costumes but everything else I still need. Like stuffing for my plush bookbag. But I havne't even started that much! Argh! Just when I thought I was doing so good with working on my costumes I realize its April! And the convention is May long weekend!!! So I have to work hard on them now! I'll definately post pictures when I am done. I am going as Chrona from Soul Eater and Kururu from Rhapsody a Musical Adventure. Its going to be a group cosplay!

If it makes you feel better...my mom came hover to help me out this past weekend with my costume and we spent 5 hours to come up with a HEM on my SHAWL! Yes, 5 hours and we made a sew line on a large blue piece of fabric...

I'll be cutting out everything hopefully this weekend and maybe sewing SOMETHING soon :( I know it seems pretty typical that there's always some piece of my costume I bring with me that's unfinished and I look at you with big huge eyes like "Please, dear god help me!!"

Wow that's lame Krys haha
and yeah since Chrona has a "companion" I am making a plush bookbag to look like him. Kinda like Izumi and Jonathan. haha

But yeah its ok we can work on it if need be at my house the night before haha.

^^ I suppose we weren't really prepared that day. Also, that's a cute idea for the companion :) Make sure it's not an obvious bag if possible so you can take it into the vendor room!

No not really haha but oh well. Yeah its not going to be that obvious. I can take it off as a "bag" and carry it around. I'll make sure I can tuck in the straps or something.
